After someone told her that she would enjoy law, Attorney Emily Smoak changed her major from education to law and never looked back. Utah Attorney Emily Smoak graduated from law school in Maine and practiced there for 10 years before moving to Utah. After practicing in several firms, both small and large, she decided to start her own firm, Smoak Law P.C. Ms. Smoak’s practice focuses on family law including representing clients in divorce, adoption, custody arrangements, child support and alimony restructuring, pre-nuptial agreements, civil unions and domestic partnerships. She also represents clients in criminal law cases and litigation.

Olga Elguera was born and raised in Lima, Peru. She is a wife and a mother of three children. As a youth, Olga enjoyed learning modern languages, focusing her college studies on English and German. When she became a U.S. resident, she was fascinated by the legal system. Because of this, Olga went back to college and graduated with a B.S. in Legal Studies from Utah Valley University in 2004. Since then, Olga has worked with different attorneys on different fields of the law, most of the time in the area of family law.
